This section focuses exclusively on Chandas (Sanskrit prosody), introducing learners to the structure, rhythm, and beauty of classical Sanskrit metres. The course covers important metres such as Anuṣṭup, Indravajrā, Upendravajrā, Upajāti, Śālinī, Vaṃśasthavilam, Bhujaṅgaprayātam, Toṭakam, Drutavilambitam, Vasantatilakam, Mālinī, Pañcacāmaram, Śikhariṇī, Pṛthvī, Mandākrāntā, Hariṇī, Śārdūlavikrīḍitam, Sragdharā, Puṣpitāgrā, Sundarī, and Āryā, enabling learners to read, analyze, and appreciate Sanskrit poetry with proper metrical understanding and confidence.
